The tech world is on edge, both businesses and consumers as its said the iPad 3 release date is to coincide with the companies annual iPod event and the following holiday season.
This is fresh speculation after the HP TouchPad was said to be having a quick touch up so that it may compete with the release of the iPad 3, the developments from HP include a release of a webOS tablet, with the product to be sold in the end of summer.

John Gruber, from Daring Fireball said that “My gut feeling is that Apple will move the iPad to a September release schedule, alongside the iPods,” also carrying onto say, “But they wouldn’t want to wait over a year and a half from the announcement of the original iPad to announce the second one.”

Grubers guesswork also leads him to suggest that Apples iPad 3 will be released fairly soon, indicating to March and shipping to start in April of the much wanted Apple product. The newly released iPad 3, would have embedded a load of updates, including the fact it will be faster, meaning more RAM, more storage, alongside this alot more thinner and lighter then the existing Apple iPad 2.

Most interesting of all, Gruber goes onto say that the iPad 3 may be more like an iPad 2 HD or iPad 2 Pro, a trend we have just recently seen after the release of the iPhone 4S, a mere development of the iPhone 4.
Gruber’s speculation was also developed by TechCrunch’s MG Siegler suggesting and also claiming that Apple was preparing itself for a fall surprise, ie in reference to the release of the Apple iPad 3.

Both are resigned to say that there is no more information, claims or sources beyond that level of informaton, however following up that statement with an optimistic outlook, that a model or version of the iPad 3, iPad 2 HD or iPad 2 Pro be released in the next few weeks, in preparation for the holiday season, signs of this look very bleak right now, as companies such as Lenovo flood the market with their new tablets.

Apple is still yet to formally announce the release of the iPad 3 or iPad 2 HD or iPad 2 Pro, they can be abit spontaneous and against the tide as seen with the iPhone 4S, which was expected to be iPhone 5.
On the other hand, leaks and reports of the specs and the device capabilities are pretty high now and as tradition this means that the iPad 3 is or should be just around the corner.
